M9P photographing in Puerto Rico

Had the amazing experience of photographing the La Vuelta cycle event in Puerto Rico in Jan this year.

While the dSLR would shut down due to rain and humidity, the M9P keep going and going.

I hate the butt kissing that happens with posts like these but you got some great images from that race.

I've always been afraid of exposing my M9 to the elements but it's good to know it's capable.

Nice photographs but not sure it would be the best tool for this job. I will have to see how many Leica cameras are being used on motorcycles at the upcoming tour de France.

Actually it was the perfect tool for me since I could use a 21mm with the M9P. I could ride up along side the cyclists within 3-4 feet. The M9P allows for getting off a motorcycle with ease compared to a dSLR with 70-200/2.8. Less weight the better.

Again, with weather, to me the Leica was the perfect tool.
