hello all,

im now in switzerland and most of the magazines here are either in french or in german. and the ones in english are like all about equipment.

so, im considering to subscribe a photography magazine, about photo journalism or street photography, and i dont want to pay a lot for delivery cost. do you know any kind of magazines?

thank you in advance.

You're already subscribed to the best one- RFF :D
I'm actually curious about this as well... Although I like the more 'artsy' mags, I'm definitely down for the same kind of 'hard' mag bostanem wants.
Um... Assuming there are any, that is.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of most photography mags, especially not the ones available here in Switzerland. There are a few decent 'fine art' mags like *European Photography" but they're a bit pricey and I only know one bookstore here that sells it.
I usually prefer to buy magazines that contain good photography but aren't necessarily about photography. Most of the time I get imported mags but they're not cheap (mostly CHF20-40). Recently I subscribed to ''Interview'' which is an American magazine and the annual subscription + shipping is only $45.
If you don't mind a bit of nudity ''S Magazine'' is pretty nice. It's insanely expensive at newsstands (CHF 45) but you can get it for CHF21 if ordered online from American Apparel.

I can't think of any magazine 'about photojournalism or street photography'. If that's what you're interested in it's probably better to just save your money for photo books instead of buying mags.

PDN has a fair amount of good articles about photojournalism. The magazine overall has a lot of good interviews, and not too many pages full of gear reviews.

The magazine is on the pricey side, but they also have a lot of good content on their website (it's a pay website as well).

You may try Photoicon, there's also online version of it. Personally, never heard about strictly street photography magazine
