Magical photos from 50mm summilux asph?

I think it's a great lens. I've had taken some photos that I'm really happy with. Who knows if it's magic or not.

But you guys don't like HD tv? I'd much rather have HD. Watching a well shot movie that originated on 16mm film on an HDTV in high def is definitely good stuff to me. 35mm originated stuff isn't too shabby either.

I was browsing the LFI gallery yesterday and was taken in by this photo... The subject, the drawing of the lens, it just grabbed my attention:

Don't know what you would call this, but it is rather special isn't it?

Hello!! You are breaking Copyright here. I would advise you to remove it because I trust William Palank to take legal action!!!
Late edit: Good idea to remove it :)

for 50 asph shots taken with an M9, you might also try fredmiranda.com, the alternative gear and lenses forum, where *denoir* has posted quite a few on the long-running M8/M9 thread.

I have some Summilux ASPH shots taken on film which I believe display a bit of magic - would they be of interest in this thread, or are you only interested in digitally-captured images?

By the way, I say "a bit of magic", because as mentioned above, this is a parameter which is very difficult to define, which means different things to different people, and also depends on the subject, lighting, and skill of the photographer.

...so, a somewhat meaning-less discussion really :)

Images are images, the brush you used to paint them is irrelevant. By all means post film images. :)

More shots with the 50mm Summilux ASPH on film. I shot a wedding of some friends - this was the only lens I brought, plus a Fuji Natura Black with 24mm f/1.9 lens (great combo). These three pictures are with the Summilux:
