I'm missing Rangefinder 35 photos in RFF gallery. Those are the joy.

Honestly...I find most of these photos to be pretty weak. Maybe useful as part of an essay but very few are strong on their own.
I liked #2, 4, 13, 15, 28 and 35. The rest...not so much.

Thanks for sharing Robert but I have to agree with Dogman here. I have seen far better in our own gallery this year.

Ha ha ha! I agree with you. The RFF postings are often excellent and beyond.

Yes, I agree as single pictures some (many?) are nothing so special but they could be an incentive ti look at the work of the photographers who took them and the series can be more interesting.
And for sure in the RFF gallery and in some of the thread there are real gems!

Genuinely surprised how weak a lot of them are.
Most of all I'm really taken aback that at a time where there's an awful lot happening all over the world, that there's none of it represented in the "Photos of the Year" from the most well known Photojournalism agency in the world, not that I'm expecting it to all be "hard news" but almost nothing in there felt like it was definitely from 2018.

Yes there is not a lot to emotionally engage with in many of the ones I looked at.Genuinely surprised how weak a lot of them are.
