Forums have been reorganized
and now all of them are I believe easier to find on ONE page
-- once you get used to the new way of looking at things.
Getting used to it will not be easy for me.
I'll give it a try but it was so good as it was in my opinion. Why the drastic change if I may ask?
one page about 8 pages long
again, click on the group headings on the home forum page
behind that you will find the old style listings for that group
Ctrl + will also increase the type size - on PC's anyway

Very nice.
Kudos!

On Macs, make that Cmd + to scale up in steps, Cmd - to go down a step, and Cmd-0 to return to standard size....

http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=226 will show most of the forum the old way.
The Home Page has always appeared "too busy" to me, especially when all I want is the Forums.

With respect, Sony A7 cameras should be in one sub-forum to ease browsing and encourage discussion. Sub-division by variants is extreme. Not even Sony Forums do this.

there are many skins, you can have your choice on the lower left home page
Here you go.
EDIT: Looks like attachments automatically resize here. You might not be able to see that clearly.

Sony Rx in two forums?
Sony Rx in two forums?
Sorry if I am both confused and mistaken Stephen and thanks for the reorganisation, but the Sony RX appears in its own thread and in the Nex-APS-C thread and there are no Nex or A-6000, etc posts? Am I confused and wrong?

Appreciate your efforts but liked it the way it was and did not have a problem with it. Now it is very difficult to find things. Maybe it is just me.
Same for me so I removed my /rangefinderforum.com/forums/ shortcut and and made shortcuts to the two sub-forums I typically go to.

"here you go" is a big vague
your skin choices are at the very end of the left hand menu on the home page

An interesting observation.
I started a separate thread on it

At the moment only a small part of the threads are moved to the new forums. A work in progress.

The 120RF forum posts only go back to June this year I hope all the prior ones have not disappeared. The forum is also listed twice under Home. I never used the Forum sub menu because I find it easier to use Home to access the forums and you also see latest posts of all forums.

I like looking in one place. If the forum were more active, a lot more active, then we could divide it up. That way it is a lot of clicking around for next to nothing.
Perhaps you could have a "unified forum" like photo net has and the ability to look at subsets also.

My one request would be for the "general discussion" forums to contain all the little forums by default. For instance, "Leica General Discussion" would be a folder that contains everything in Leica M, Leica digital, Leica Q, etc., instead of in its current form, which contains very few threads. At the moment there's no way to browse all "Leica stuff," or "Fuji stuff," or whatever; it's vanishingly small subforums or nothing.
Well, not nothing: the only "forum" I visit here is Active Topics. But would be great for each category of camera to have its own "active topics" option.
Thanks, Stephen!

Just click the headings of each group
you will find the previous larger type style headings
Thank you! I was just clicking on the sub-headings.

In the side bar..it would be nice to have each major section sub header..ie...Fuji, Leica, Leica clone, Sony, etc then under these have the camera specific sub headers u currently have..
This would make it easier to go to the camera family u want to check out for new post as opposed to searching each camera subsection individually. It would make it closer to the faster lookup of the old approach.
Right now u already have "fuji x" as a major sub header, but it is not in the sub bar.

I just recognized that a page of a thread contains 100 posts. I think that's way too much, compared to previous 25posts/page.
I myself prefer 15-20posts/page, to save the time of re-loading web page.

I agree. Threads where people post photographs loads slowly.
We are still working on this and will hopefully have some added nice options in place by next week or before.
A New Posts button is added to the main top of page menu choices.
Personally I can see no difference in page loading with the 100 post pages.
for me its now easier and faster to cover the discussion.
