Main Photo - Horrible Experience

I shot a few rolls of Scala during my once-in-a-lifetime trip to Macchu Pichu last year. I sent it to Main Photo and it came back extremely dirty and under developed.
When I called them they said I could send it back to them and they would clean the slides and scan them, so at least I could have decent digital files. After not hearing a peep for about a month I called them and they said they had no record of the order but they would call me back that day.
No call back.
So for about every other week for the last five months I've tried to call them and I either get the exact same response with no call back, put on indefinite hold, or just plain hung up on.
It's looking doubtful that I'll ever see my precious Scala images again. I've honestly never experienced worse customer service in my life. I would not recommend Main Photo & Imaging to my worst enemy. 😡

I hear you. Unfortunately Scala is a unique process that you can't do on your own, AFAIK.

SO sorry to hear this, Dave! For future reference, personal experience and net chatter both indicate dr5 (www.dr5.com - no affiliation, etc.) to be possibly the best place in the world to get Scala processed.

I hope you can get this resolved with Main Photo, and at least get some sort of images back for your efforts. I would also contest being charged anything from them; I hope you have good records of all your contact with them? Good luck!
