This is in real danger of becoming my favourite RFF thread - more great work Dan. It almost tempts me to bring my 3.5f and plenty of Tri-x when I next go to NY in October (holiday for once so will actually have some shooting time) but I know full well it's the photographer not the camera!

Bring your 3.5f to NYC, most definitely. But before you do, shoot a roll-a-day, so by the time you hit The Big Apple you're ready to take a big bite out of her. She don't care who nibbles. Remember to pack a lens hood, walk around with your exposure set, and your focus at 10ft, and you'll be good to go. And thanks for taking the time to write a reply. Feel free to contact me when you're in town, and we can set-up the tastiest subjects the city has to offer with the old pick-n-roll -- they won't know what hit'em!

It's the roll a day part that's the problem sadly .

A roll a month is probably more realistic on my current form so I'll probably bring something I'm a bit quicker on the draw with, but I'd love to get together for a while to watch the master in action!

Master-schmaster, I'm just having fun. If you don't have film to load in your camera, or time to process it, shoot it dry, and develop the picture in your head. That's the fun part, seeing the shot, shooting the shot, wondering if you got it and reviewing it in your head prior to examining the neg, the scan, and the printing or digitizing. Plus if carry the camera everyday, it won't feel so burdensome when you're on holiday.

It's Saturday, so you know what that means -- processing and scanning.
Here are three from this past week.
