I love my Pen F, and I'd love to be able to use some of my other OM and Nikon lenses with it but the adapters are stupidly expensive. With the EP-1 making so much noise around all the photo forums I wonder if we can use this momentum to revitalize the older Pen camera's as well. It's not like the adapters are hard to make, as there's no glass involved, I wonder if we make enough fuss one of the 3rd party adapter makers would start producing some for the Pen?

BTW. I have just tried some photos with a Nikon adapter on Pen FT, with the 25/2.8 Zeiss Distagon wide open. and it looks like infinity is not properly aligned... will have to check if it focuses past, or if it is totally off...

au contraire, they are out there. In Japan, I see a lot of apparently new adapters including LTM to pen, etc.... By the looks (black, plastic + metal), I think they are Chinese. I know this may not help a lot, but I recommend expanding your search. No personal experience with them.

I would really like a ltm to Pen adapter but thought it was impossible due to the ltm back focus distance being shorter than the Pen - unless there is an optical element included to correct the focus.

Anyway, I've looked before for such adapters and came up with nothing. Do you have any links????? Please....

Iirc, Olympus made LTM to Pen adapters, with the caveat of being macro-only.

I'd still love to see some factory in China making affordable new Pen adapters. Really, I guess just a Pen F to EOS would be fine, then use all the other, cheaper "[X mount lens] to EOS" adapters that are widely available.

Apologies for sleeping on your reply. I presume that the same original issues apply regarding macro only for LTM lenses even with the Chinese adapters. The newer ones also appear to be plastic. Unfortunately, I don't see any to link to these days...
