For me photography is the art of vision, the difference between it and other visual arts like painting is that this photo does exist not only in ur imagination but it's there out there..
U might see what others can't, ur imagination can create a whole world around a small object that u may capture in a photo...
Not everyone can appreciate photography because people concentrate more on their souvenirs and any pic viewed by some people can be considered meaningless unless u attach a story to it...It's ur own vision, like ur own opinion and stuff, but i guess it's like any other type of art, although it's popular and everyone has cams and photo souvenirs..People see a photo of a desert with some foot prints and they say so what?? u can go to a beach and get urself some footprints why do u've to capture that?
But on the other hand pics can express what u can't say in a 1000 pages...
