Malfunctioning CV 25 viewfinder

The brightlines on my CV 25 VF have suddenly become cocked \ to the left. Does a relatively easy solution exist or must it be replaced?

Hardly replaced - but it will need fixing, the element with the brightlines on it has come loose.
 
2nd thread on this, but just in case my reply is of any help, here's a copy of it from the 1st thread:

It seems to be a problem with C/V viewfinders. I'm quite unskilled with stuff like this, but I took mine apart and turned the element with the brightlines so that they were straight. I made the mistake of gluing the part in what I thought was the right position. I was wrong, so they're now slightly, and permanently, tilted.

If you're handy with small parts, you should be able to do a better DIY job than mine. If you turn the VF upside down, you see two tiny Philips screws. Undo those and carefully, carefully pull the two halves apart. The various elements stick to both the top and bottom slots that keep them in place, then fall out so that I had no idea which slots they went back into, and I had to get help on that one (I had to work on two...).

Not long after my inept fix, I received unexpected cash and bought a Zeiss 25 VF. Very expensive, but the view is fantastic and the frames don't slip.

Thanks grain hound. I will give it shot. To be clear, does one need to glue or is it press fit?

Everything would have to be press fit, I guess. I didn't encounter any glue anywhere, and figured the element with the brightlines should be glued down. I wouldn't do that again, but I'd be expecting the lines to tilt again. You might be able to find something that would hold the element in place, but not be permanent.
