The following images were taken at the Bishop's Close, a great place to capture images just outside of Portland, OR.

A few from my travels around Fiji where the Mamiya 6 + 50mm was the only camera I took along with a heap of Portra 400 (self developed scanned on V700)

Keep coming back to gawp at the detail here. Must be worth going for a big print on this one?

Love the Mamiya 6 and love alot of the pics on this thread. However, I've noticed that alot of the color photos have a distinctly cool greenish cast, which I don't care for. I've taken to using a light warming filter on my Mamiya lenses when shooting color, but mostly use my Mamiya 6 cameras for B&W.
I thought it just might be my computer screen, but other photos I see on this website don't appear with the same greenish cast.

No filter but I can see why you ask. It was post cold front and the air was very clear with well defined clouds.

It sounds like a perfect vacation plan to carry the Mamiya 6, 50mm and Portra.
Beautiful set of photos. Makes me wanna go to Fiji right now.

The ferry from Victoria, B.C. to Port Angeles, the second one from the campus of Portland State, downtown Portland, Oregon.
On expired Kodak 160NC, IMO Kodak Portra works really, really well with the Mamiya 6 75mm Sekor, it's one of my favorite combinations.
Negative film has latitude that slide film doesn't, plus the Portra colors are beautiful, romantic, emotional.

Here's one taken with the 75mm f3.5 lens. Film was Ektar 100.
