Mamiya 7 43mm question

Just purchased a 43mm lens for the Mamiya 7 and it has a tiny bit of play in the front plastic piece and aperture ring. If I grab the very front and try to wiggle it with my fingers, it will move ever so slightly. It seems like this could possibly be just the way it's built. But it also seems like maybe something is loose and needs to be tightened.

Can anyone else that owns one check for me if the same is true of your lens?
