So, my Mamiya 7 has stopped working. Thought it was a dead battery but I've tried two different, brand new batteries and no juice at all. There's no blinking red light for the meter, shutter won't trip, nothing.
Anyone have any recommendations for where I should send it to get it looked at? For what it's worth Mamiya Leaf is literally just minutes from my house, but I don't know if they are still servicing the 7. Thought I'd ask here before calling them.

I just had my Mamiya rangefinder adjusted at Nippon Photo Clinic in NYC. Great guys, great at what they do. Not cheap, but reliable. They can definitely fix it.

Thanks -- gives me another excuse to wander down Broadway sometime soon.

Just wanted to say thanks P.O. Nippon took care of it. Like you said, it wasn't cheap, but they did a good job and the turn around was not bad (exactly a week).

What was wrong, Kev?

The main switch and the DC converter was bad. So, no meter, no shutter -- kaput.
Went bad all of a sudden. One day fine. Turned it off, put it away. Two days later, completely dead. Nippon had to replace both parts (switch and converter).
What was wrong, Kev?

Peter,
It was just over $300. Not cheap, but better than having a paperweight.
Turnaround at Nippon was good -- 5 days from dropping it off -- but I'm guessing that's irrelevant since you'll look for somewhere local .
