I just like looking through it. I really should be pumping up the 7, as I want to sell mine (and keep the 7ii). It has been a tough choice. I have wavered between which one to keep. I appreciate the sturdiness of the darkslide latch on the 7, but I only have one lens, so I won't be using it too often.
