I picked up a used Mamiya 7 II this past weekend, it is a large rangefinder and I do find it to be comfortable fit in my hands. The Mamiya feels lighter than my MP but I believe they actually weigh about the same, Mamiya with 80/4 vs. Leica MP with the 50/1.4 ASPH. Shot a couple of rolls and will need to put through a few more to get comfortable.

My scans are pretty low tech -- they are done on an Epson Perfection 4990 flatbed scanner. All of my color landscape work is shot on Fuji Velvia (both 50 and 100 ISO) or Kodak E100VS (until recently, that is🙁).

Edited to add: This post was in response to an earlier scanning question that seems to have vanished. So, in the words of Emily Litella ... nevermind.

Just bought Mamiya 7 with the 65. Had the Mamiya 6 years ago and sold it to buy a Leica but always sorta missed having a modern medium format camera. A few from the first roll:

PhotoMat: You truly know how to use the M7 and get some amazing results with it. I'm curious how you find using a grad ND filter with it. Do you just estimate where to put it over the lens or have you figured out a more exact way to position it?
