Hi,
Yesterday I wanted to shoot a bit with my Mamiya 7ii. Picked it up and it was completely dead. I exchanged the battery for a new one. The meter worked. But when I switched it off and then back on again, It was dead again. I have repeated the procedure a couple of times with similarly bad result.
Reading on the net I found that the problem could have something to to with a magnetic shutter coupling.
Anyone recognize this problem? If so is it possible to fix it yourself? If not where do you recommend I send it. I'm based in Switzerland.
Thanks in advance
