Mamiya Lens Serial Number...

I'm having difficulty locating serial numbers on my Mamiya 50mm and 80mm lenses.

Not sure which model Mamiya you mean, but the lenses for my Mamiya 6 had their serial numbers on sticky labels which have since fallen off. I can still see the residue where the label was stuck on (on the barrel near the mount). Very poor idea.
