Hey guys, I just got myself an old 23 press standard with a 90mm lens. I'm trying to figure out how to get the framelines in the viewfinder? Would I have to get a mask to fit in the top where the frame is? I have a 6x7 back currently.

i'm not sure but i think maybe the press standard viewfinder does not have framelines. the entire view is what you get. could be wrong on that. it's been years since i had the standard model. my current super model has bright line frames.

IIRC the framelined viewfinders only are on the Universal and Super - the Standard and older models had a 90mm full-frame viewfinder and needed masks for longer lenses.

I saw the viewfinder for the 6x7 back on ebay, thanks guys.

I took apart the lens recently to clean it up but cannot get the lens back on the distance scale ring, anyone ever had problems with that?
