Mamiya SD tests and a spectacular UFO! :)

For those who care 🙂 I just got back my test roll from the Mamiya SD Frankencamera. 🙂 Actually, the only Frankenparts on it now are the top cover (which had a dent) and the rewind crank (plating peeling) but more will probably follow.

Anyway, here are some test shots. These are just Walgreens generic prints scanned on the HP flatbed at work. Film was Kodak Gold 200, about the only one I could get in a 12 shot roll.

Anyway, for the left one, I was aiming almost right into the sun, trying to see what kind of flare and/or UFO I could get. I didn't expect one this brilliant! 🙂

If you need any parts, please let me know. I almost have enough to make another semi-working one, except the main plate of the shutter assembly is bent beyond reasonable repair.

Also, the next time I take this thing apart, I'm gonna photograph the process, as in a few cases I took things apart that did not have to be taken apart.
