Can you comment on the pictorial quality of the Mamiya Sekor 250/5 for Mamiya Press., it's practicality, etc.
I own a Mamiya Standard 23 and do not know if it will focus reliably and there is no viewfinder mask for this lens. I currently own three lenses: a 65/6.3 that I happen to use the most in 6 X 9, a 90/3.5 which I don't happen to use as much despite the fact that it was cleaned recently but it's rear element retains the fungus damage and a 150/5.6 blue dot which I seldomly use, but I will put it to its paces very soon!
I believe the 250/5 is dubbed as a rarity on eBay, perhaps it will have very little use on my landscapes.
I'm shooting Rollei Retro 80's as ISO 32 with an orange (G), perhaps the 250 will Llow me to focus on very specific details of a scene. It could be a nice addition to my lenses if I can ascertain if it will work with my Standard 23 and what kind of application it can tackle!
What say you?
