Ojo de ruta, thank you for your participation: I really like all your pics and you definitely have a love for your Mamiya SD camera!

I myself just came back from Idaho (here in the USA) and sadly I have to report that all my color iSO400 film (FUJICOLOR PRO 400H in particular) was ruined by X-Ray security machines at the airport(s).

They had a sign saying that they are guaranteed the safety of any film up to iSO800, but all my film came back (after development at local CVS photo department) with this very ugly blue-ish/green-ish cast I can't get rid of.

What a bummer...

Sad to say but AFAIK, there is no X Ray machine that´s really film safe. It´s been a long time since I made my last air trip and this one made me think that is safer to get film developed (at least) locally in your vacation/destination place. In that trip I found a nice unevenly overexposed TriX roll which fortunately didn´t have any good pictures I wanted to keep.
XRay machines can be operator adjusted to different radiation levels. This allows different penetration levels. To avoid the trouble of doing that, some lazy operators leave it at the setting that any luggage piece is easily inspected. This means it´s not film safe.

Hi! I just picked up a Tower 20B (Mamiya Super Deluxe). It seems to be in great condition, but the focusing ring won't turn. It's as if it's locked in place. Is there a trick to this or is it just stuck? Thanks!

EDIT: I think this is actually a variant of the Mamiya Ruby. It has a Mamiya-Sekor 48mm f 1:1.7 lens. I can't find any meaningful information on these cameras.
