"Double image can be seen. But it is not accurate and is also out of alignment to the vertical direction." Can this be repaired. I have the manual for the Polaroid version which covers most things.

The rangefinder can be adjusted in either dimension - if you have the service manual, it lists the screws to adjust. Use proper tools - the screws are secured with thread locker and have thin slits, applying force with a unsuitable screwdriver may damage them...

Thanks i thought so. As i said i have the polaroid manual which seems to be mamiya's full manual. Ive aready found the screws are brass so soft. Is there a solution to use before that will ease releasing the screws?

Warm the screws with a soldering iron, and use thin bladed precision screwdrivers.

Thanks people. Out of curiosity if one looks in the manual ie the polaroid600 it suggests you can take apart the viewfinder. Has anyone done this. I have a spare which is fogged up. Hence i've found a part in japan but still curious about taking viewfinder apart. When i have Time!
