I think that last paragraph from the report sums it up. Teach your child to be sensible and s/he will stay out of trouble. Fill their heads with nonsense, or worse still, just leave it to others, and you will put them at risk.

That is only boosting xenophobia and prejudice when you simplify the world too much and try to project it on to specific things. The fact is that most people don't want to harm you, even less so complete strangers. Teach the kids to think instead of spreading prejudice and they have a much better chance in life.

True words and people wants to be in denial of this fact since people generally don't want to be a part of the problem so they blame it on others. Xenophobia and such only makes people blind to the real dangers that often are way closer than they want to think.
