Hi Folks, this is with the early Elmarit 28mm Version 2. Basically a version 2 glass cased in a version 1 body. Other pictures taken with the same lens appear on my Flickr.

In a moment of weakness, I just bought a 135mm Elmarit-M f/2.8 (the one with the rangefinder magnification goggles) to add to my Mandler family. It should arrive in a couple of days.

If you have used this lens, I would love to see some photos taken with it. THANKS!

The 135 Elmarit was an interesting lens but I hardly used it and finally sold it because of it's weight. I was afraid about the lens mount and also the strap lugs ...

The 135 2.8 is a wonderful lens. True, it's heavy and has a long focus throw, but the results are great. Unfortunately, I don't have a flicker or other posting account and I understand that's the only way I can post on this site.
