Okay, not mannequins here, but this was another mall.
These gals were doing "eyebrow threading" at a kiosk in the middle of the main hall. Don't ask; even my wife wasn't sure what this is. Something like plucking eyebrows with dental floss.
I know it's not mannequins, but I couldn't decide where else to post these.
Apparently, this mall has different policies, because no one here asked me to stop. Perhaps it's the difference between live models and plastic ones.
The technicians were holding the "thread" in their teeth. They did manage to attract a crowd AND a steady stream of customers. If you look hard in the background there is a mannequin.
helen, your work belongs in Websters as the illustration for the word ethereal. a very distinctive, readily-recognizable with an all-your-own-ness style. with lots of gauzy, wispy, airy light. cool shot, as always. btw, that's some big telephone.
