Great combination Chris ... with a day or so to go I still can't decide. I'm seriously thinking MF ... I may go and pick up my Rollieflex T which has just had the lens cleaned and use that. I've been using a little Voigtlander Brilliant 6x6 lately and I'm starting to quite like the square format ... I thought of using it but it's scale focus and a little slow to shoot with.

And I have all this 120 film that Fergus sent me! 😀
 
Very tough choosing. Thought about the MF route with the C330f, then the Fed 1 with a Summitar, then the R2A with the Canon 50 1.8. But I haven't shot the Nikon stuff in awhile, so finally settled on an 8008s with a 50 1.8 AI lens. Neither are used enough so here's the chance! Although there is the FE2.........nah, the 8008s is it.
 
Sound like fun... I would go one for every things, camera, len, film, and developer. 🙂

It would be M6TTL + 35/2 Summicron IV + Tri-x and D76 for me...
 
Well, I was going to use the Konica S2, but the slow speeds are very slow - 1/30 is more like 1/4 !

So, maybe the Yashica GTN, Bessa with either a J9 or one of many 50s, a newly resurrected Kiev or just use fast film in the Konica 🙂 ?
 
Unfortunately, I won't be able to participate as I will be on an extended shoot for 'work,' but I do have a rules question, as I want to participate the next time around:

The rules state that you can't crop portrait to landscape, but can you crop a 6x6 to a rectangle, or a 35mm to a square?
 
I'd think that since cropping portrait or landscape rectangles out of the 6x6 format when printing has been pretty common among 6x6 shooters for years there wouldn't be a problem, but Keith is the final arbitrator of all rules for the challenge.

That's a tricky one ... I hadn't thought about that.

I guess a square image is neutral so a change to landscape or portrait is not really a reversal. Can't see a problem with that ... so as long as no one else objects take it as a gimee! As for going from 35mm to square the same applies ... it's not a total reversal so why not!

Killer. My eye tends to grab a lot of images that work better as squares for some reason. I wish I could participate this time around, and I look forward to doing one in late summer or fall. Good luck to everyone who is participating, I know that there will be some fantastic results as always!

I'm going to use some of the PAN-F that Fergus gifted 🙂D) me, and I've ordered a step ring so I can use my ND filters. I want to see what I can do with f/1.2 in broad daylight. And my new L-308 meter arrived today, so I need to spend some quality time with it too. (Thanks for the tip on the good price.)
