Can regular film canisters be loaded or do you have to have those Nikon canisters for loading film?
You can of course use regular film in the Nikon's. It is just that some of us buy bulk film and load our own. Get's the film cost down considerably.

Can I post pix shot on my M3 with Amadeo-adapted w-Nikkor 2.5/35 in S-mount?

Nasty weather outside but cozy inside.
My weapon for March.
I like the Kodachrome box! How are you going to develop it?

Haha, it is back in the freezer. Not sure why i keep it there as the box will never be opened.

Looks good on that fine lens. I have 3 coming next week.
Raining and close to freezing here so no photos today.
We are all asuuming hoods, could be three lenses

Rule bending? Taken in February but latent mage not processed/scanned until March. An area owned by the National Trust, of Seashore with sand dunes and coastal pines home to the rare, in England, Red Squirrel.
First "real" roll with the 35mm f1.8, a joy to handle with the F style knurled focus ring.
ADOX CHSII TD-201 3minsA 3minsB Olympic S3 3.5cm f1.8
Looks like I was careless with this one and left some film frame in LHS.

That would be nice but yes, it just the very inexpensive hoods.
I am actually quite happy with the 3.5/2.5 (And the price)

The "new" 3.5cm f1.8 was sporting a 50mm hood I had to hand with 43mm thread and I did get some vignetting so off E-bay, as recommended on Rff so cheap it is silly, the new hood. This looks fine, of course a test roll is indicated. Luckily it is Nikon rangefinder month

Chris, I have the same hood for my 35mmf2.5, it works really well

I thought so, but seeing that nib on the canister had me wondering.

I was going to ask almost the same question only substituting M2 for M3.
Or just using the lens on a Contax IIa?

Yeah, I could do it the same way, on my Contax IIIa, but it puts the VF up a bit high...I was going to ask almost the same question only substituting M2 for M3.

Well, if we're going to be that lax, I'll just put my Millennium Nikkor in an Amadeo adapter and put that in a Voigtlander adapter and then put that on my A7.
IMO Nikon RF means body as well as soul.

Hmmm, i thought this thread was for Nikon range finders and not so much for Nikkor lenses on other cameras.
It's easy to create another thread dedicated to XYZ cameras.

There I go tomorrow morning off three days to London.
Changed kit to S2 + 50/1.4 + 35/2.5 + delta 100.
135mm stays home as will not have time for that during business trip.
So will the Voigtlander R2S and SC glass.
Only non Nikon RF item is 35mm Leitz SBLOO, if not allowed I will have to guess 35mm frame

OK - went out today into the bitter cold, started by getting a frost burn on my finger from filling up the tires with air at the gas station
shot most of a roll with the S2 and 35/2.5.
I've decided that Nikon has a very manly shutter sound - there's no doubt you took the picture. It's like you burped at a bar and if someone looks at you - you say "I burped, it's a bar, so what..." With the S2 (and SP), it's like "yes, I took a picture, I'm a camera, what did you expect?", love it!
pictures will be boring, it was like a curfew was in place, everyone is at home keeping warm

Lover of Nikon RF.
Problem is that I don't convert film to digital much, if at all.
Looking forward to seeing what others post.
