March, Nikon RF Month!

More From March: The Seattle Skyline.

More From March: The Seattle Skyline.

Equal portions of just plain hideous and or stunning, like any modern North American city I suppose, I constantly find myself gazing upwards enjoying the spiraling sight of my urban reality.

Here are a couple of examples.

Taiwanese Protests.

Taiwanese Protests.

Some shots from a protest event staged by first and second gen Taiwanese folks I stumbled upon last month, ostensibly over a Taiwanese trade deal with China.

It turned into more a cultural than political event, with free Krispy Kreme doughnuts being handed out. And equal numbers of university students alongside parents (and grandparents as well) with their kids darting about.

Mera Jigari Dost!

Mera Jigari Dost!

I have definitely been over-posting here, but this simply demonstrates the copious amounts of fun I have experienced over the last two weeks of March with my newly acquired S3.

I guess it shows, huh?

But please bear with me--one more post.

Some shots of my best buddy in whole world. He's like a second dad to me.

From last month...the Titanic museum/exhibit in Pigeon Forge at night.

Nice stuff!

I really like the grainy, moody quality of the Titanic shot, and the Nokton's sharpness is clearly patent.

But what a wonderful portrait! Nice, tight composition, along with great sharpness, really allows the subject's warmth to shine.
