Hey, I just found out that I will be able to join you guys at the Willet's! My wife is gonna hang out with her buddies on her birthday, so I will be free on Saturday, yay!

Sat. noon does not work for me. Thought that you guys were talking shooting at night. I will have to come at 1:30 or so. Can I call you guys when I get close to there tomorrow?
Andre and Tung, I used stainless steel reels when I took photography classes way back. Loading was a breeze. (Tung, I would suggest you load a useless film in daylight first so you can see how it works). Now that you guys got me thinking to change over to stainless steel reels from my plastic ones (six of them). However, that also means that I will have to stock different type of reels, for 35mm 120 films ... I prefer big tank. That's a lot of reels.

We started meeting up two Decembers ago. Once we skipped a month, but this month we met up once to have a gearfest, and this weekend we are going shooting together.
We have many-many talented people in our group, and mucho-mucho gear. In other words we are a rowdy bunch of nut-jobs who like to laugh a lot, but we all take photography very seriously.
Outside of the meet-ups that are posted, there are many smaller get togethers.

I'll bring my Noct-Nikkor for you to use.
I went shooting around Queensboro Plaza at night. I shot Tri-X at 1000 ISO and will develope 28 rolls of film tonight. Mounted on a F3 with the illuminating light mod I performed its a great-great night rig. One night I mounted the F3 rig on a extra heavy monopod and it was like a battle ax.

That was one great creative idea that quickly went south.
Its that no good Andre, who got all kinds of great results doing the outa control Andre thing which is do all kinds of stuff. He is the source of much inspiration, and everybody should have a friend like Andre who confuses you and confounds any plans.
BTW Andre is the biggest source of GAS and being his friend has cost me thousands. Because of no-good Andre It started when he showed me his Rolleiflex over a year ago. Now look at all that medium format gear in my signature.
