New York March RFF New York Meet-up?

Check out the pictures from the March outing. Got there late, just managed to shoot a few shots and played with the mighty Noct-Nikkor. Nice lens! Thanks, Cal!!

Damnn, John! You're quick! Nice shots, too!

I literally just loaded the two B&W 120 rolls I shot into the tank but I'm waiting for the developer go cool down. Stupid hot apartment! Why did I stray from no fuss Diafine?!?!

Will post when they are and the slides are uploaded

I had a great time in Willets Point and also pigging out in Jachson Heights.

I'm thinking of doing a differant kinda April Meet-Up where we would meet up at the Burger Garage to pig-out near my house in LIC and then go on one of my "Death Marches" that I use to do with poor John.

The burgers are made with free-range beef and are among the best in NYC, but sell for little money across from Court Square. Then we could begin our hike into the vast empty space that divides Brooklyn and Queens, where basically there is no residential housing and its mostly a neglected industrial area that's kinda vacant.

What do you guys and gals think. Of couse I'd try to wait after Easter when the weather gets pleasent.

I'm down with that Cal. However, maybe we can make that a seperate thing for people who want to photograph in a group. Re: the regular meet-ups, I love getting together, drinking beer, looking at the gear I won't buy, and laughing.

Im always down to cross the "bridge to nowhere" and marvel at the timeless beauty of "Blissville", Queens :)

I'm just putting it out there. Also I kinda failed to mention that I kinda would beat up poor John because we would walk 5-7 miles in 95 degree weather. It was kinda hard core. Probably not for everyone, but then again alot of us are wack jobs that will do almost anything for a good shot. LOL.

As you know, I'm always up to trying new things.

Well, I always need the exercise... so I'm ready. I wouldn't say i was beat up... I just need plenty of fluids when we walk like that... since I'm a bald guy and all.

Cal & John,
How about exploring the indian community in jackson heights?
We could wind up at the Jackson Diner for some serious food.
:)
