A few weeks ago, someone here suggested the Massive Dev Chart on the internet for calculating push times etc. Great pool of information.
Now I've found their app. It works great on my ipod touch, even providing timers for all the steps.

I saw it, too. But $8.99 -- isn't that a bit steep???

Have a peanut butter sandwich instead of pork chops for one meal to recoup the expense. Oh, the power of rationalization!

I use this App on my iPhone. It is terrific. Recommended times and agitation for tons of films and push/pull. And, the timers work just exactly the way you want, with tones for agitation, stop, and start. If you develop your own film, I highly recommend this application.

No. Not one bit, for what you're getting...a huge amount of information, at your fingertips in a very well-designed interface.
It's actually quite cheap. Seriously -- less than ten bucks makes you nervous? I don't get that.

One of my most often used IPhone applications together with the light-meter. The temperature-conversion function is very useful for me.

It'd be awesome at twice the price. You can also store your own custom regimes, such as mine for Tri-X @ 200 in Rodinal (for scanning). It's even better on the iPad, because the display is double the size
.

I don't recall what I paid for the app, but it was worth it regardless. I like that it automatically calculates your volumes for whatever size tank you have and whatever ratio you wish to use.
The timer portion is also really good though. It seems to me a bit of a great equalizer when it comes to all the different timing and agitation methodologies out there.

There is no color developing info though, which is a deal breaker for me.

It's a great app, but for some reason it imploded on my iPhone 4 and quit working altogether. I really enjoyed using it but it mysteriously quit working. Re-installing it didn't help.

The digitaltruth website itself looks simple, attractive, and effective on my phone, which already has a fantastic timer. I couldn't ask for better.

Be aware that if you purchased the app before November 2010 as I did, you will have to pay the full $8.99 (or whatever it is in your currency) to get the current version. Apparently, that's because they switched the developer account that the app was originally developed under, so you have to repurchase the app at its full price. Therefore, the total cost of the app to us "early adopters" will actually be more like $14. Still totally worth it, although it stings a bit.

Hello,
As I understand it, C-41 is a standard procedure, no matter what ISO, no matter what film.
I made a custom development time myself to apply whenever I want to develop color film.

I use it too, but with my own Caffenol recipes I use it as a timer only. On second thoughts, I use it to store all my custom development settings. In which case, free of charge, its very good value
My only gripe is the 60 minute limitation. Stand development over 60 minutes needs an additional timer, or use another timer altogether.

Maybe a dumb question, but can you adjust times by percentage with this app? I use a Jobo and need to reduce published times by 15%.

I use an App on my iPod Touch called FNDMobile and just enter in the times for the films and developers I use. It also has a timer function (I just use a stopwatch) and I think it comes with some developing times to start with. I don't remember what it cost when I got it, but if it wasn't free, it was just a buck or two.

Is it for iPad and iPhone or one version for the iPad and other one for the iPhone?

Not sure. I just have an iPod. Search "FNDMobile" on the App Store, it sells for $1.99.

+1. I've been using the ap since I got my iTouch a couple of years ago. I find it easier to use, in fact, than the standard PC version. Absolutely great ap, worth every penny. I've made a lot of use of the customize feature, which enables you to enter info (and make notes and updates) on specific film/developer combinations. And the measurement calculater is useful for those of us who flunked chemistry...
