Massive Dev Chart app experience

I have used this app every time since I started developing film. But I don't print so I don't know what it would be like there. But in experience it has been absolutely brilliant.
Except for the price 🙁

cool

cool

yeah ill only be souping my film but seems like a really handy thing to have.

do you use gloves? does the iphone screen still respond when touching it through the rubber?

I bought it, I really like it. The dilution calculator function is handy. Recording your own personal preferences is great to have. $7.99 is not too bad. Have one less beer at the pub tonight.

I've used it to soup my film for the past year. Works like a charm although like many above I don't use gloves. Just dry finger before touching screen.

I also like that you can change the recipes and save them for future use. Nice to be able to quickly go to those film and developer combinations I use regularly without having to find or re-create them each time.

Use it all the time for film processing. I get to develop many B&W films and use different developers as I do the processing for my local camera shop. Great app. You can store all sorts of film/developer combinations, edit the steps, the times, the temperatures etc.
I don't wear gloves. I wash and dry my hands if I need to.
Wouldn't try to use it for printing though. Not sure if it can even be programmed for that and the screen light would be unsafe anyway.

Yepp, used it since day 1, it's great! The dev times are pretty so and so as you would know, it's very general times, etc you need to find your own times of course. I love that I can store tons of different times, films, developer, dilution combos in my favorites, very accessable, easy to use!

Just make sure you don't get developer on your iphone/ipod touch while developing -_-

Good luck.

I've been using it for a while and it's brilliant. Good for storing your own "workflow" as well.

The screen won't work through gloves. My workaround is that I hit the "next" button (or whatever it's called) with my knuckle to avoid getting the screen wet. All you need is some spot of skin to touch the screen and it works.

great app, I use it every time I soup.

I put my iPhone in a zip-lock bag. keeps the chems off the phone and the touch screen still works.

I've use it, and it is one of those photo apps that I would buy an iPhone just to have the app, certainly worth the money. I pour the developer with my ungloved right hand, start the timer, then put the glove on for inversions.

I have the iPad, and while the app image isn't that great it sure is big and that big old start button works just fine with rubber gloves. I use it all the time now.
