Match needle meter

Folks,
Since I have been using only my Canonette GIII, I have realized how much I like the needle in the viewfinder. I wonder if there was/is a rangefinder that has a real match needle meter? I realize that diodes are the current thing but were there any of those classic RFs that were all manual and had the match needle meter ? I'm not in a hurry to buy one but after the new year I'll probably be looking for some "new" stuff.
Any reccomendations appreciated!
Apparently I AM a camera collector:bang: :bang: oh well, there are worse vices I could have.

I think the Yashica Lynx had a match needle, but only on the top deck if memory serves. I think the Petris had them in the viewfinder - the 7s, certainly.

Yeah, that would be sweet. My SLR is a Nikon FE and I have yet to find any manual exposure viewfinder display design that is better than that camera. All the information you need is right there in a quick intuitive way.

The Leica M5 and the Leica CL and Leitz/Minolta CL (not CLE) had match-needle exposure readouts and in-finder shutter speed displays.

Those are the only interchangeable-lens RFs I can think of that have info similar to your Nikon FE finder.

(Sorry, no aperture readout, as there is no aperture coupling on any LTM or M lens to send the info to the camera, and the aperture ring locations are too diverse to use an optical window system like the FE's.)
