In addition to Leica M lenses I also have a few Zeiss and Voigtlander glass. Can the coder kit be used to add codes to non-Leica lenses (ie. does the code wheel include the 6-bit codes for m-mount lenses other than Leica)?

Absolutely. I have used it on Zeiss and CV lenses. You need, however, to choose a Leica lens to match the non-Leica glass to. Not very difficult - there are a lot of posts (by lens) here and elsewhere.

Hi Andrew,
Here is the most commonly used coding reference. The third party lenses are listed in the last column.
Cya,
Johnny
Thanks Johnny. That covers everything other than my Voigtlander 15mm f/4.5 (1999 model). Any idea where I can find the code for that?
Cheers, Andrew

Oh, and I'm also missing the 6 bit code for my Summaron 35mm (2.8) M3

I use the WATE code at 16 mm for my 12 mm Heliar. Not perfect but pretty good. (M9)Thanks Johnny. That covers everything other than my Voigtlander 15mm f/4.5 (1999 model). Any idea where I can find the code for that?
Cheers, Andrew
