Material of top plate and bottom plate Zorki 4?

Hi everyone, who can tell me what is the top plate and bottom plate of Zorki 4 made of? Are they made from brass and chromium plating? I need information to make a plan for painting it.

They are made of chrome-plated brass. You'll have to de-chrome them if you want your paint to stick, because there's pretty much no paint that will stick to chrome (at least, not in a durable fashion). You can find methods on the internet for de-chroming.
