Probably...but now you've got to be extra careful about any enlarger shake...the higher the enlarger head goes up the more unstable it will get...

As it turns out, the answer is No. At least not on this Meopta Opemus III. Very easy to rotate the column and project to a lower station, tho. I am going to try and fit/adapt my 50/2.8 Schneider Kreuznach to it.

There are adapters for the Schneider lens to convert it to a 39mm mount...

My Componon-S is 39mm ltm. It is too large for this Meopta lens holder (23mm hole). I need to adapt a lens holder/board some way.
