So RFFers, did you go out and capture the various demonstrations around the world? Share your work! I was here in NYC...

Damaso, is your posting on FB also from May Day? Both nice images.

Yup. It's been a while since I was out in the thick of it. Don't think I miss it much...

I lost interest anymore. Protests like this achieve absolutely nothing besides financial damages to the cities and taxpayers. The world won't change a bit just because of some people smashing a few windows.

I wonder how long it will take before this thread gets hijacked into a political debate then gets deleted?

I was working as well. It's been a long time since I was an idealistic (and clueless) student, and even then, my studies didn't allow me time for such nonsense.

I've got a roll waiting for me to develop it, but I've a bit of a back catalog from shooting union stuff in this last month (11 rolls in one month, but that's probably small time for some of you guys). Hopefully I can get it done this weekend

I went out in Philly for a bit. Got a few shots, films getting developed.
It was just a small crowd with an overwhelming number of police on bikes and paddy wagons.

Actually, no. While I'm in full sympathy w/ the protestors, here in Daytona Beach there just isn't too much to demonstrate against. Oh, the economy could be better, but it's warm, the air is clean, the water is great, and the beaches are crowded. You can always catch crabs or fish off the piers (or just cast a net out in the surf), and the locally grown fruit and vegetables are delicious, cheap and plentiful. So, capitalists or no capitalists, life is sweet.

It would have been less of a fun little vandalism rampage if the police were.

Went to Occupy Oakland for the May Day Strike, they were teargassing people and when I got there, 60+ police was arresting one lone protester. What were they talking at KQED radio on the way up? "Oakland protest may delay traffic..."
(yes, photos forthcoming - film XPan panoramic for today)

It is enough to be the master of my own destiny.

Sorry to hear that life was so rough for you.
As for me, I tried to go out during lunch a little. Suprisingly, not much action in the Wall St area.

I used my Hasselblad XPan II and not my Leica M9 so I won't show the images here
Actually, the first image on the blog post was taken with the M9, but in Nov 2011:
