Perhaps for the June meeting we should think of an outdoor bar?

Don't miss the David Goldblatt exhibition at the Jewish Museum or the Kenro Izu exhibition at the Rubin Museum.
Next time...
Manhattan Beach, CA... Just got my Rolleiflex back from Harry Fleenor who has his shop in Manhattan Beach. Say hi if you run into him for me.

Harry Fleenor's little office is just a few blocks from my house, so all my Rollei repair needs are easily attended to. Not that I have any. I bought my SL66 from him, and so it was already in excellent working condition....

Interestingly, Damaso is documenting a changing Europe. I believe Damaso will be sorely missed. Because he lived in Germany a while he is a big beer hound. I am sure he would love David Copperfield's. World class beer drinking with the flavor of an English pub.

I'm sure shooting with that classic rig was a lot of fun (M3 and the most minty 50 collapsible Cron I ever saw).
Please post some shots on this thread if you can. In New York, I run into the same people again and again. Stay in touch, and I know you'll be back again.

I was wrong about the Kenro Izu exhibition at the Rubin Museum. The event was a book launch of the photographer's 30 year retrospective, not an exhibition. I attended the lecture; Kenro Izu was eloquent about his work and his new book is superb. His work, however is on his website: www.kenroizu.com. -George
Next Meet-Up is Sunday the 23rd of May.
Meet at 1275 York Avenue (near 68th Street) before 3:00 PM EST to see the 24 large format Berenice Abbott prints. BE THERE BEFORE 3:00 PM EST BECAUSE THAT'S WHEN WE HEAD FOR THE DOOR. I'll probably be there at 2:15. Tere's a huge awning just in case it rains BTW.
I figure that around 4:00 PM we'll head to David Copperfield's (1394 York Avenue at 74th Street).
