Of course these were made for microscope or Visoflex use, not to be used as rangefinders (since they are an M4 without a rangefinder). I'm sure they would be fine with uncoupled lenses like the Voigtländer 25mm/4 Snapshot Skopar or the Zeiss 15mm/2.8 Distagon ZM.

Yeah, I dig their intended purpose. I'm not sure, even if I were inclined to use super-wide lenses, that I'd think that saving a few bucks made it worth the inability to actually focus with the body.

Plus an external viewfinder...
 
One thing's for sure: you'll never have rangefinder alignment issues..

I did consider one of these as a back-up to my Bessa-T. But in the end figured that for relatively little more money I could get a user M with RF. Still, most of these MDa's haven't seen daylight, so will generally be in great cosmetic shape.
