Nikon FM2n focusing screen

Looking for a focusing screen for a a Nikon FM2n, my 20mm f4 is a bit dim when focusing checked to see what screen I have turns out its type K so the older one from FM2. Does anyone have experience with type 2 screens are they any better? found a beattie screen online at a good price but it has a notch on the tab so i'm thinking this may actually be just the Nikon type 2 screen, do they alao have a notch ?

I would recommend getting a 3 series screen from the FM3A. They are a lot brighter than the 2 series. For me they help focus over the 2 series, although this varies for different users.

I don’t know the Beattie screens. The Nikon 3 series screens are still available new, fit right in and don’t need any exposure adjustment.
