Quite a while since I've posted in this thread and though I don't have any new images to add at the moment I must say this is quite the page - I don't see a single image I don't like on here. Bravo people, bravo.

Fantastic picture! I love how the bubble and bokeh compliment each other. Very nice.

Thank you, sir

^^Is "The Wife" a professional model ? Peter

And--not to detract from her modeling talent--are you a professional portrait-shooter? It seems like you ought to convince all manner of family and friends to get near that window whilst you're armed with the RZ. Nice work by you, and I think we could evaluate the merits of each of her right-eye eyelashes individually (insane sharpness by Mamiya).

Lusting for a Mamiya 6 at the moment, but I can't complain about the trusty Rolleiflex. It's my favorite camera to take on vacation.

From a recent family trip to Bermuda. MX-EVS w/Portra 400.

I never got a chance to use a medium format camera when I was a film guy. A recent opportunity finds me with a Mamiya RZ67 and a couple lenses as well as the AE finder and motor drive. Not my first choice but the deal was irresistible. This is the first roll. TriX, 110mm, AE not recorded. I'm so impressed with the detail. The roll was developed and scanned by Photoworks SF. There might be something to what all the film guys have been saying all along.

I guess it depends on what you consider someone to be a pro. I do not make my living by it although I am working towards that while I am working a desk job I truly despise at this point.

That looks so peaceful with the bird on its own world (removed the image from the quote to not bulk up the post). BTW, Portra exposed @100-200? Looks rather wide aperture, f5.6 down to f8 at most.
That film can take anything. For summer I wanted to try a bit of Portra 160 but then that 1 1/4 stop difference can be felt on shade and lower light.

My GW690 has been rather idle lately. I'm looking for a few nearby locations to shoot around. It's big and slightly heavier but I shouldn't be so lazy. And carry a tripod.
