The fire lilies are finally popping! Shot about ten minutes ago. ;)

Hassy 503CW w/CFV, Distagon T* 50mm f/4 FLE CF, B+W 77mm Kaesmann CPL and 10mm extension tube.
ISO 200, 125s @ f/11. Tripod mounted, cable release and MLU. Only problem was a slight breeze. Argh.

Is the noise/banding in the background compression artifact or is it really that bad at iso 200?

Sounds like just the place you'd probably find a Shiner Bock and a bratwurst while in the land of BBQ and Tex-Mex ; )

Yes. Yes. Yes. and Yes! :D All of the above in 4 days. ;)

I like the way you saw and composed this image. Really nice. This is the sort of shot that inspires me to see things from a new point of view.

Thank you! I had a heck of a time waiting out the wind.

I love shooting medium format, but so far I've only shot 3 rolls. I really need to take my Yashica Mat-EM out more. I love the results. This was shot on Arista.EDU Ultra 400 at the Whalehead Club in Corolla, North Carolina. Hope you like it.

Took my Mamiya 7II to the farm today - the only one of my MF cameras I still have after selling my Rolleiflex and Fuji Ga645 to fund an X100, but I think I made the right choice in keeping this one. Tri-x in ID-ll.
