Great series Robert.
I recently stayed around the corner from the UNI QLO store. Your photos bought back happy memories.

sem,
Thanks for the kind words.
The gas station is part of a local history/heritage museum only and not in use.

The Lion’s Fountain - Culver City
The Lion’s Fountain - Culver City
The Lion’s Fountain (2004)
Made of bronze by Douglas Olmsted Freeman
Downtown Culver City, Los Angeles County, California 90232
It was a very cold and windy night. The wind had been gusting so hard they turned off the fountain so people in the vicinity would not be soaked. I set the camera very close to the statue. On most days and nights this would be in the water as you can see here.

I really love this thread. Makes me wanna go out and take some MF shots. Unfortunately, my 124G broke again...
Thanks! I guess it was Fuji 160NS...?

It sure is. There is something inviting to MF shots, not to mention the whole MF experience.

Thats a bummer. Hopefully you can get it fixed or buy a cheap one off of the used market. There are plenty around.

Two thumbs up to "rafphaelarron" for the for the excellent portrait shot with the Exakta 66. What a wonderful smile on a beautiful girl...lighting just perfect also!
FYI...I have a very nice SL66E outfit on auction at Ebay right now...2 lenses, lens hoods, Mag viewfinder, 1 film back. From estate collection, film back will need servicing.

thanks! yeah it's one of my favorites of my friend, i was ecstatic when i saw the negative and knew the scan would come out great.
also, I wish I had money to get an SL66 outfit. Just don't have any right now to justify it. Perhaps in 2013.
