I don't shoot this combo much, but I should.

What don't you own?

What don't you own?

Todd, is there a tasty medium format camera+lens combination you don't own? :D Excellent work as always.

Another 45mm lens: Pentax SMC 45mm/4.0 | Pentax 6x7 | Tmax 100 | Xtol 1:3 | My apologies if this is a rerun.

Will-shadowfox,

Where in Texas????????????? A county seat judging by the courthouse. I think I've seen that courthouse.

I have the m645 1000s and the 80mm 1.9 and it does get almost as much use as my 35mm gear...I also have several other lenses for this camera...
But I don't have the 45mm...well at least not yet...I bid on one yesterday but lost...oh well, there will be another one...:D

Denton historic downtown, Wayne. In the middle of the rain :D

The courthouse (and the square) is very charming.

Thanks! The rain helped you. I was at a show in Winnsboro the Saturday before Labor Day. 100 cars smack together with a whole herd of folks crowded around each car. It was tough trying to see the cars in the viewfinder for all the folks. Rain would have been a blessing.

Most Texas courthouses are very charming. I'll try to get to Denton one of these days. The problem is stopping and not going straight on to New Mexico.

Indeed the rain helped, although because of it also, I can't find the owners of these beauties. I'd like to offer them a print or two if they came out well.

Btw, Denton is *far* away from NM, Wayne :)

It's not far if you don't slow down in Denton to take pictures. However, I made the drive from the house, near Quitman east of Plano, through McKinney, Denton, Decatur to Wichita Falls last summer. I won't do that again. I came back through Henrieta, Sherman and Greenville.

One of these years I'm going to ride my bicycle out west. That way I'll have lots of time for photos.

Near the top of Monument Hill, outside La Grange, Texas. Pentax 6x7, 105mm lens, Fujicolor.
