Just got my Plaubel Makina 670 back from the Plaubel factory in Germany. Yes, they still service these cameras. They fixed the shutter, and now everything is perfect again.

Kodak T-Max 400, B+W 0.6 (4x) ND Filter. It's really easy to use this ND filter, just screw it on, set your ISO from 400 to 100 (in this case), and continue as usual.

There are some wonderful pictures in this thread. The presence is amazing. have had the same experience with MF ( I use a Hassy, and a mid '30's Zeiss Nettar folder), but I don't really understand why the results, when done well, are so good. Is it the shear amount of data on the MF negative?

Yes, both when taking and when scanning. The silver grains are the same size, regardless of the film size. So the bigger the negative, the more grains to capture detail and smooth tones. When scanning, the same applies to the sensor array that passes over the negative.

Mamiya 7 and 80mm. Trying to decide if I should get the 65mm...I like the 65mm focal length but the viewfinder is so perfect with the 80mm. First world problems...🙄
