I love the quality of the images on this thread. One can really tell a difference between medium format and 35 or digital. I tried for a year to get into medium format using a blad. Unfortunately, I am just too lazy to carry a camera that big. I guess I will stick to an M and a couple lenses.
I did use a blad for a few years back in the 1980's. I just sold the blad after taking one roll of film with it in 15 months.
Keep the pics coming.

^^ those are scary good portraits. I think that the 'Mamiya 80mm f/1.9' is a dream come true lens for MF.

Awesome shot.
I have that camera, that lens, but a different kid.
Waiting for an order of Ilford XP2 to arrive in 120 so I can do similar.

picked up a Mamiya Super 23 with 100 3.5 through some trading shenanigans and burned a test roll. I like the beast.

Todd--
Beautiful image quality! Do you scan from a print or direct from the negative? Do you use the scanner proprietary software or 3rd party SW?

Despite being a beautiful portrait, the file is actually quite clearly over-sharpened.

Please explain more. From my monitor I thought it looked great. And I'm being serious here as I'm trying to perfect my sharpening technique.Despite being a beautiful portrait, the file is actually quite clearly over-sharpened.
