Medium Format ... long may it live!

An old focus test. Film was processed this weekend in a Jobo Multitank 5. Eight 120 rolls at a time. Perfect for my uses. Ilford Delta 3200 in one of my Plaubel Makiflexes. 360mm f5.5 Schneider Tele-Arton wide-open. Processed in straight replenished Microdol-X 24 minutes at 18C Very dark rainy day and HANDHELD. Something new for me with these cameras. High speed films show great promise for me.

Dave thanks so much and it's been more than a week for me as you can see. LoL..
I hope that you see this.

Lights were white lightning 1200s and I only used one with a 30 X 40 soft box and a large white reflector for fill. Key light was feathered. Backdrop was a 20 X 30 medium gray muslin. Subject was pulled out maybe 10/12 ft from the backdrop.

Just now seeing it! I obviously don't get here as often as I should do. So, I'm mostly an available-light landscape photographer (and random other outdoor stuff). Therefore I can only halfway understand what you described, and certainly haven't got any of the relevant kit to try to do similar. But the results are so good that you've dragged me another step closer to starting the steep (and potentially expensive) learning curve of lighting...

Thanks,
Dave

Nokton48 Thanks , very nice of you .

Nokton48 Thanks , very nice of you .

I am starting to believe I own too many cameras , this old bronica seems to regularly deliver the goods , I have a Canon 6d which takes great pictures but they seem to me to be sole-less.

I feel the same way. Too many cameras. Use the ones that you enjoy working with and do the job for you. I have a Nex 3 but I hardly ever use it.
No satisfaction from that one. My Son uses it to shoot videos for his college classes

Gorgeous, Bobby!

Thanks! The light was amazing while we were there. Great photos almost everywhere you looked.

Here's a recent shot. Autumn is quickly changing into winter, but I caught these poplars at their peak.
