Brilliant work on your part. The subject is deeply, compellingly odd and sad. He appears to be a ticket seller, based on the microphone. But the absence of environmental context makes this more Kafkaesque, as though he's condemned to sit inside his own mausoleum and answer questions, but no one is lining up to ask anything. I especially like the way you show him poking his own cheek. His finger may as well be the barrel of a pistol.

Maybe I felt identified with him since I worked as hotel night auditor in the past.

My Yashicamat is a great tool for infrared because I can view through the viewing lens with an R72 filter on the taking lens:

The latest addition to my medium format collection is a Fujifilm GA645Zi which makes a great travel camera. It's pretty lightweight and compact which means it's hard to find a reason to shoot 35mm:
