Love my Rolleiflex, but had a lot of trouble hitting focus in that first roll. Now, on the second and third, I am getting slightly better at hitting focus, with a few shots that are spot on--like this one of my friend and his daughter. I'm also hoping my new soft release and Mamiya focus screen will help clear things up....

I just changed the focusing screen in my 2.8C and it does help a lot. I used a screen from a 6000 series Rolleiflex camera it just dropped in.

Oh good! Thanks. Before I started hitting focus a few times a roll, I was honestly starting to think that the lens was just soft. Now I'm excited to use this gorgeous glass to its full potential.

Beautiful photo littleearth. Great soft light, beautiful natural body position
as an aside littleearth, what tech specs can you share...developer? The out of focus background really makes the subject standout. (camera & lens?) Regardless of any of those details, it's a beautiful portrait.

Thank you ! It was the Pentax 6x7 + 105@f2.4.
My friend developed it and I scanned it on a Noritsu. I am not sure which developer he used.
