Medium Format ... long may it live!

OK, yes, "If it is red, take a picture of it." I was waiting for a Ro-Ro to pass and shot some pics of these potted red flowers. They look like poppies but I do not think they are opium poppies. These are the poppies of Flanders Fields worn as "Buddy Poppies" used in the US by the VFW as a fund raiser for disabled vets. Zoom in on the poppy and check out the color and detail of the lens/sensor combo. I do not have another camera that does reds as consistently well as this one. I like this camera.

test shot facing east in west St Louis, X2D2 +21mm f/4 at f/4/infinity (arrow middle of inf. mark), same results w/f/4-f/11.
fly by wire lens but easy to pinpoint focus manually w/clicks (it's also rare to have Santa Fe, NM clouds in St Louis but not surprised by now lol).

I believe it's the Missouri & Mississippi Rivers connecting, and forming a micro-climate above those rivers with more and different clouds based on observations living here 8 months now here. There are more clouds east towards downtown where rivers come together, making west county a cooler climate. Mostly looking east, above the rivers it's typically a cloud-soup, rather than this New Mexico-looking skyline today July 3, 25.

X2D2?? I see none on the internet. Howdja do this?

other thing of note, is the railing-cables in test-shot foreground, 21mm/f/4 infinity-mark shot, are 6-feet from lens (through window).
hyperfocal distance from f/4>f11 using the infinity guide through finder, first time this accuracy i've seen in any camera. It is spot on the mark lining up with center of inf. both in v/f and back screen.

these details make it worth the extra weight of camera and the bigger 21/4, to go with it. IBIS makes it hand-holdable.
